We get a lot of calls from businesses needing repairs for their business copier machine. Although we are glad to repair their copiers, we hate to see damaged copiers that could have avoided the damage in the first place.

Large business copier machines can be intimidating and many people are afraid to work on them even though a lot of problems are caused by simple paper jams and things that could be avoided through preventative maintenance.

Although we are always more than happy to help you repair any issue with your copier or business equipment, we'd rather you not have to call us for copier repairs that could easily be prevented. Here are some things you can do to not have to call us to repair your copier:

  • Check toner levels as this can produce poor copies.
  • Clean the glass and rollers to prevent lines from the copies. You can use special spray that may come with the copier.
  • Replace your toner drum on laser printers about once a year.
  • Keep beverages, food, and common office supplies  away from  your copier such as paper clips, staples, and small items that can fall and become lodged in the copier.
  • Clean the copier on a regular basis.
